प्रधानमंत्री बेटी बचाओ, बेटी पढ़ाओ (BBBP) योजना प्राथमिक रूप से सामाजिक जागरूकता और सार्वजनिक-सेवा कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से लागू की जाती है, जिसमें अन्य योजनाओं (जैसे सुकन्या समृद्धि योजना – SSY) के माध्यम से वित्तीय लाभ दिए जाते हैं। इसका आवेदन सीधा सरकारी पोर्टल पर नहीं होता, लेकिन निम्नलिखित तरीके से आप इसमें शामिल हो सकते हैं:

1. पात्रता

परिवार में 10 वर्ष से कम उम्र की एक या दो (जुड़वां) बेटियाँ होनी चाहिए
बेटियाँ भारत की नागरिक हों, जिनके नाम पर आधार और जन्म प्रमाणपत्र होनी चाहिए

2. जरूरी दस्तावेज़

बालिका का जन्म प्रमाणपत्र (सरकारी/अस्पताल जारी)
आधार कार्ड (बेटी और माता-पिता का)
फोटो: बेटियों की पासपोर्ट साइज फोटो
Address/ID proof (राशन कार्ड/ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस/पैन कार्ड आदि)

3. आवेदन प्रक्रिया (ऑफ़लाइन)

Step-by-step:

नज़दीकी बैंक शाखा या डाकघर जाएँ जहाँ SSY व BBBP पर आवेदन स्वीकार होता है
वहां BBBP/SSY आवेदन फॉर्म लें और जन्म, आधार, पता व परिवार विवरण भरें
उपरोक्त दस्तावेज़ संलग्न करें
फॉर्म जमा करें → अधिकारी सत्यापन करेगा
यदि सब सही, तो बेटियों के नाम पर SSY खाते खुल जाएंगे
बैंक/डाकघर SSY खाते में नियमित जमा, ब्याज (≈8%) और कर लाभ सुनिश्चित करेगा

4. SSY खाते से जुड़ी लाभ व्यवस्थाएँ (BBBP के अंतर्गत)

बेटियों को शिक्षा व विवाह हेतु ₹1.5 लाख तक जमा कर सकते हैं
₹250–₹1.5 लाख प्रति वर्ष जमा – धारा 80C के तहत कर छूट के साथ
8% वार्षिक ब्याज मिलता है, यह कर-मुक्त होता है
बेटी 18 वर्ष की आयु पर 50% राशि निकाल सकती है, या 21 वर्ष पर पूर्ण निकासी कर सकती है

5. जागरूकता, सामुदायिक अभियानों में भागीदारी

BBBP सीधे आवेदन के बजाय सामुदायिक भागीदारी व जागरूकता अभियानों पर केंद्रित है:

स्थानीय पंचायत, सरकार, NGOs, स्कूलों द्वारा Gender Sensitization Workshops चलाए जाते हैं
सामाजिक कार्यक्रमों में आप स्वयं, संस्था या संस्था की मदद से शामिल होकर जागरूकता बढ़ा सकते हैं
